Shipping has changed - Can someone help me?
I offered "ship for free" on these cheap coins I sold over the weekend and started the auctions at .99 cents with no reserve. REAL auctions like Ebay in the old days. Now when I go to shipping, rather than the .88 cents for a less than three ounce packet I have been paying, the cheapest shipping Ebay offers costs $4.41 cents to ship? What has happened? How the hell is this going to work for me? Do I have to use Ebay shipping, and if I don't use Fee-Bay shipping, how do I do it?

OP2 years agoWhere is this option for sending standard envelopes for items under $20 located?

When you listed the items, you chose the shipping as "USPS Ground Advantage®" which is for 4 oz. or more.
You are not required to use Ebay shipping options, you can mail from the post office. You should use tracking in case a buyer states non-delivery, and upload the tracking information into your shipping details.

OP2 years agoI absolutely did not choose "USPS Ground Advantage" ...Ebay chose for me. There is no other option offered. All the other options offered start at $4.11.

According to many listings, other coin sellers on Ebay have been able to choose the "Standard Shipping (USPS First Class®)" option.

Normally coins qualify for the eBay Standard Envelope which starts at around $.64 an ounce. But the transaction cannot exceed $20. Once you go over that $20 threshold, the next option is Ground Advantage.

Mentor2 years agoLook under EBAY in your screen shot. Upper left corner. There is the standard envelope.
