Shipping handling times

They recently changed their handling time from 1 day to 2 days due to not having a car, but an item sold on Labor Day defaulted to a 1-day handling time. Hi - I used to have my shipping handling time as 1 day and it worked well. However, I don't have a car right now and cannot get my stuff out the next day so I changed my shipping preferences to read 2 day handling. I just sold an item on 9/7 and buyer paid same day which was Labor Day. I just went in to print out a label to prepare my package and it defaults to a shipping date of 9/8 - which is 1 day handling time the very next day which I cannot do at this time and all of my listings reflect that. I my mind I figured I should have a shipping date of 9/9 or 9/10. Please help if you can so I can figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thank you.

The label is always going to print with a date of the day you are printing it, regardless of your handling time. After hours and Sunday labels should print with the next business day’s date.
