Shipping ground shipping of a galileo thermometer is it prohibited? Has no mercury its a badic tall
Usps is not wanting to ship my galileo thermometer because it may contain ethanol? Anyone else have trouble shipping this item? I choose ground shipping with hazardous label because it being liquid.

Mentor2 years ago@julestreasurefinds Google is telling me that even if the newer ones have some ethanol in it.
You MIGHT be able to ship it UPS ground but you'll have to do some research. If you use UPS buy the label on Pirateship.com
You can void/ cancel the label within 28 days of purchasing it from the actions drop down menu next to the label on this page>

The sold item will have two tracking numbers so be sure to let the buyer know which tracking number to watch. You can not remove the extra tracking number.

OP2 years agoThank you so much I will try that trouble is the post office already scanned it in so hopefully she can void it when I pick it back up tomorrow so I can get that shipping fee back. Thank you for the help you're awesome- jules

OP2 years agoDang it 😕 . I'll prob just refund buyer due to postage was more than item cost and take a loss . Lesson learned. I just assumed it was water and floats inside. Thanks again- jules
