I sell on the US eBay site and handle shipping from Hungary. As of January 1, 2026, shipping costs for registered mail have risen sharply. Items must be sent as a "package," with the cheapest option costing around $60 USD. I cannot set the rate to $60 USD; eBay's shipping policy doesn't allow it (it caps out at $25 USD). I would like to know how—or if—I can set the rate to $60 USD. Alternatively, I would like to exclude US buyers from purchasing. How can I do this? Is it possible ? Tyierry, seller from Hungary.

Mentor2 weeks ago@tyierry I don't think that you can use Calculated shipping when shipping from another country as the system won't know how to calculate.
I like the idea of adding a handling charge as @eastlaneave for the domestic shipping ( which is the shipping price from your location to the US). You would have to try to see if it allows that option.
Your other option may be Rate Tables.
However you can NOT exclude shipping to the US when you list on eBay.com
You may wish to consider listing your items for sale on the eBay UK site>
https://www.ebay.co.uk/ Then you can block shipping to the US.

1) Try using Calculated Shipping for the USA packages. The limits are for fixed price shipping.
2) Try adding a handling charge in addition to the flat shipping price
3) Are you listing on eBay.com or another eBay site?
I think you can't block USA if you list on eBay.com
