Shipping From Another Country
I have the opportunity of manufacturing personalized items overseas (neon signs) at a great price. Is there a better way of listing that I'm shipping from Asia (where all the engraving, etc is done). I see that I can mark in the actual listing that I'm shipping from China. Is that all I do?
I have a few items up for sale that have done well on other platforms. But I am really wanting to partner with this neon sign maker overseas under my LLC. Is this the best way?
I used to sell defected name brand clothing and housewares back in the day and did decent, but my source for that is dried up. I'm still in the wholesale business, but really just wanting to move past basic cosplay/jewelry items and move in on selling custom pieces that are more meaningful for customers.

·2 years agoHi @estabutta Yes, that's not only the best way, it's required. The listing must show where the item is shipping from. (If the item is shipped to you, and you ship to the buyer, then show your location in the listing.)

OP2 years agoThank you! I read somewhere else in the community to start a new account and list Asia as my address, but I think this might mess up taxes for my LLC since that's listed in the US.

·2 years ago@estabutta You're welcome! By the way, that wasn't a good suggestion, not just because it would mess up your taxes, but would mess up your account with eBay. Both your own actual location for your account, and the item's location in the listing (where it's shipping from) have to be accurate.
