Shipping fees for labels through ebay
I almost always ship using a Small Flat Rate Priority Mail box. If I go to the post office and pay for shipping, I pay $10.40. When I purchase a shipping label through ebay I pay $8.51. I just viewed my Manage Shipping Labels and ebay is only paying USPS $6.88. Now USPS is saying I owe them $1.63 and ebay is charging me an additional $1.63. Can anyone explain to me why: I pay ebay $8.52, ebay pays USPS $6.88, USPS says I owe an additional $1.63, and finally ebay charges me an additional $1.63 for a total payment to ebay of $10.14.

Is it possible you printed a ground advantage label instead of a small box label? $6.88 sounds like ground. The amount shown in your label history is what you were charged for that label. If it was a ground label, but you put it on a flat rate box, the charge is for the difference to make it the cost of the small box.
You should be able to go to your payment account and see the charge for the label there in the net proceeds calculation for that order.
