Shipping fees assigned by Ebay were way off and I lost money in the deal.
I recently posted an item for sale and entered in my package weight and dimensions.
The package was 65.05 lbs and the dimensions were 83" x 10" x 8". The order details said shipping was $69.31 for FedEx ground. I knew that was very low, so I checked on FedEx's site and they said it was $202.00.
When my item sold, I immediately had to purchase a shipping label from Ebay and it was now $119.33. Therefore I lost $50.02 in the deal.
Is there a way to adjust shipping fees when you create the post? I couldn't find a way to do it.

It appears you use Flat Price Shipping instead of Calculated Shipping.
For something large and or heavy, always use Calculated Shipping so eBay will adjust the shipping based on the buyer's location.
If you use the shipping calculator
https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates
The range is $69.31 - 158.51
Your listing is shows $69.31 regardless of the destination zip code I enter, so that makes it a flat price.
