We sold a vintage red wagon recently and it the listing was correct. It was sold, but when ebay did their thing, they said the shipping would be $53. 45. I dot remember the cents TBH. Doesnt matter. Anyway, my husband took it to UPS and the shipping came out to be $700.+!! I emailed the buyer who couldnt/wouldnt pay that much and we canceled the sale. How does ebay come up with that tiny amount. Measurements were listed properly etc. Also, we dont want to pay for an ebay shipping label and provide our own-do it all ourselves. This is acceptable, correct?

Mentor4 months agoeBay only knows what you tell them in the listings.
You give the correct size and weight. If it is large package, you also need to select oversize.
You can use your own account for UPS or Fedex and then enter the tracking number into the order once you ship.
You will always have issues with shipping costs if you do not enter the correct details.
