Shipping fees
Why would ebay say it cost 12.62 to ship it and I printed the label, but then they charged me an additional 12.19 totaling $24.81 to ship a water bottle flask. Therefore, I only made 6.82 on it, so it is not worth it to sell these items if you are making nothing on them by pay almost $25.00 for shipping when I thought I was only paying $12. It just doesnt seem worth it to sell stuff on ebay then.

Mentor4 months agoYou do not give enough information for us to offer advise about the shipping charges. To help we would have to know what shipping carrier you used, the dimensions of the package and the weight of the package. We also need your zip code and the zip code of where you shipped to.
One thing I notices is that you used flat rate shipping on the bottle. So the buyer was not charged for delivery to their address only for the flat rate you placed on the listing. For most items you need to use calculated shipping so the buyer is charged correctly.
