shipping fees
I noticed today that the shipping fees I paid was a little higher that what the buyer paid. No change with the estimated weight and package size. What's up with this?

2026 Shipping Carrier Rate Changes
If you sold the item with calculated shipping under the old rates, it is possible that when you ship the item today, the new rates will apply.
When did you sell the item? When did you print the label?
Your calculated shipping rates should adjust to the new rates.
The Post Office is closed tomorrow due to Federal Holiday.

I should have checked when the USPS 2026 shipping rate increases would go into effect. That was today with an average increase of about 5.9%

You sell items that are listed in a few different categories. Your jewelry listings mostly have the same shipping cost, which looks about right, but some of the larger items shipping cost I would question. Are you pre-packing the items and taking your weight and measurements after that?
Is the listing with the higher shipping cost than calculated, one that was listed before the USPS added their holiday shipping surcharge back in October? FYI. That surcharge ends today.
You will have to pay the difference since you cannot up charge in your stated shipping cost.
