shipping fees
Has any other seller noticed that Ebay charges BOTH the seller and buyer shipping fees? The buyer alone should pay the shipping fee. In addition to paying Ebay their transaction fee, I'm being charged for the shipping label as well which is deducted from my total earnings. This is happening for every sale I make. This seems like a scam to me . Anyone else feel the same way?

Mentor2 years ago@okolepuka53-1 I think that you are misunderstanding how the system works.
The buyer pays you for the item price and shipping label. You use the buyers money to pay for a shipping label UNLESS you are on fund holds then you may have to "front" the money to pay for the label.
When eBay pays you they will subtract fees on item price + shipping + sales tax that the buyer paid. If you were able to use processing funds for the label then that is also subtracted from your total payout.
For example right now I have a payout summary that has a negative $6.40 for available funds because I used processing funds to buy a shipping label.
You need to go to the sold item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Click where it says view order details to see the break down of what you made from the sale.
