Shipping Fee Errors
I sell on eBay. I use calculated shipping but was charged $ .60 more than buyer was charged and ebay says it is USPS mistake and I have to contact them. They said it happens sometimes. I am not supposed to pay any of the shipping if I have reported the correct weight and dimensions. If eBay knows this happens than they need to work out something with USPS to correct it.

OP8 months agoNo, when I purchased the shipping label the price indicated was $.60 more than what the buyer was charged. Person I spoke to on eBay he said it happens sometimes but I had to deal with USPS directly. USPS representative was unfamiliar with this and tried to transfer me but could not find anyone to help and then got sent to beginning recording and I gave up! If this "happens sometimes" I think eBay should be addressing this problem with USPS liaison , not me.

Mentor8 months agoIf this just happen recently and considering the amount it is probably just the increase postage rate that went into effect for the new year. Likely the buyer purchase just before the increase and you created the label just after the increase as calculated shipping is quite accurate and updates automatically. If it happens again come back.
