Shipping Credit?
After a long separation from Ebay, I rejoined to sell several items...
I hasten to add, I have no complaints about the platform or associated fees or process... I love Ebay...I just don't participate too often...
Recently, I sold some equipment... While I noted the Ebay Shipping service... I decided to ship through my account... where I also get discounted rates...
I've made two shipments thus far... Im wondering How will I receive the shipping Fee as a credit?
Thanks... The EBAY automated attendant leaves more than something to be desired 🙂

Mentor10 months agoWhen the buyer purchases your item, they will be paying item price + shipping + sales tax. You get the item price + shipping. You can then use whatever shipping you wish to use. ebay will credit the item price + shipping the buyer paid less the final value fee to your specified checking account. Be sure to add the tracking number to the transaction.

OP10 months agoThank you disneyshopper….the summary suggests ebay subtracts the shipping value from the funds due?
Further…. I allowed a buyer to cancel…but i had already shipped the item outside of ebay shipping. I cant figure out how to contact the former buyer to request the product return, and i think ebay released the hold on the funds collected for the sale.
How would you handle this (its a real nightmare).
