I am a returning ebay seller. I never previously had an issue with shipping. This time I am constantly having issues with shipping and the seller paying the actual cost of shipping. Usually it is minor , less than a $1 so I just assumed it was something I am doing wrong...this time though it is way off! Today I received a notice that I had a sell. I go to ship it - the cost to me for shipping is $10.01. The buyer only paid $6.65! The correct weight and dimensions for the box were listed in the ad. I have calculate shipping on...How did the buyer not pay the full shipping amount? Please help!

OP4 months agoI called Ebay help. They found that there was an old shipping policy from years and years ago when flat rate was $6.65 (!!). Somehow this item had gotten that selected as the shipping. We checked and none of my other ones had that...and we deleted it so it won't happen again. However, that aside, I have been off by less than a dollar on a lot of other shipping prices. I will just be more careful in the future. Thanks for the responses!

If you are using Business Policies, please review them here
https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage?profileType=SHIPPING&sortType=-listingCount&_pgn=1&limit=25
You can see each policy and the listings that use the policy. Deleting a policy is only helpful if there are 0 listings using that policy.
Make sure the main policy you use is Calculated Shipping.
Name the policy so you know exactly what it is .

Mentor4 months agoI agree with my fellow Mentor, the mugs have flat rate shipping, not calculated

Can you provide me the eBay Item Number for the listing? the 2 mugs that sold today do not have calculated shipping. It appears you used Flat/Fixed Price Shipping and typed in $6.65 as the shipping cost anywhere in USA
Go back through your listing to make sure you have Calculated Shipping selected. Don't enter a price, only the weight and dimensions of the packed box.
