shipping costs
for items i sell that cost under $10.00 ; I mail the items in a white envelope via USPS FIRST CLASS but ebay is not allowing to list those items using that shipping option
I think i am going to add the $1.60 to the opening bid amount and make it a free shipping item.
I do not want to charge a $7+ amount for sh on an item that costs less than $10

For collector cards consider using ESE (eBay Standard Envelope): eBay standard envelope | eBay
Read that help page carefully to make sure you get the envelope spec right. It is Metered Mail and while NOT door to door tracking it is better than what you are doing now, you have zero protection just using USPS First Class Postage.
