No, I understand all this. They kept showing it coming out of my final payment. Like I had said, it was paid in total to Ebay, not to me. So what you mean is they pass it on to me as part of Ebay's payment to me then?Because I ultimately am the one who ships the item.

Mentor1 year agoTechnically, the entire payment from the buyer goes to eBay as they collect and process payments.
The buyer pays for the item price, the shipping cost and any taxes owed. that payment is collected and processed by eBay.
eBay then removes any fees owed for the selling of the item and any taxes the buyer paid and transfers the balance to the seller.
With that "balance" the seller purchases the label.

Mentor1 year agoThe buyer will not ship the item so they don't actually purchase the label.
The buyer just pays the shipping amount that the seller asked for in the listing.
Then the seller purchases the label and ships it to the buyer.

Mentor1 year agoThe buyer pays the shipping which eventually is passed on to the seller.
The seller purchases the label from the funds they receive from the item.
The buyer does not purchase the shipping label.
The seller is responsible for shipping the item and paying for that shipping.
The seller gets the funds for the item and shipping less any fees owed when they get the payout for the item.
