Shipping costs
Shipping costs from sellers seem to be unreasonably high, inconsistent and in some cases higher than the item sales price.
Why is this happening? Isn't there some way to make shipping costs more transparent and negotiable to facilitateclosing more deals??

·2 years agoAn item price has no bearing on the shipping cost.
Shipping cost have gone up here recently due to the carriers raising the prices.
No shipping are not negotiable ,but they are transparent, all listings show what the shipping costs are.

OP2 years agoThe shipping cost does indeed have a bearing on the sale, which of course includes the cost of the item, so I disagree.
The seller should absolutely have the best and lowest options for shipping posted for the buyer, especially when those costs are near or in some cases higher than the cost of the item, of which I regularly encounter on ebay.
