shipping cost scam - who is responsible - ebay or ups??
This happened twice. I wanted buyer to pay for shipping expenses. I chose cheapest offerings that were listed on ebay. That was the UPS option. But when it came to paying for shipping it was twice the price. But ebay only charged the buyer the original UPS price. Therefore I was left with paying the extra price. For one item this was $20 off my $160 earnings. For the other item it was $25 off my $30 earnings. Ridiculous effort for $5. What is going on here? Is it ebay or UPS scamming people.

Mentor4 months agoYou need to enter an accurate WEIGHT of the packaged item, as well as the dimensions of the package, rounding up to nearest pounds and rounding up to nearest inch. The private couriers (Fed Ex and UPS) have surcharges if the item is not contained in a cardboard box. Other surcharges:
