Shipping cost refunds
I sold an item with the buyer paying shipping costs. The item is being routed all over the country by USPS which is out of my hands. The buyer wants a shipping refund but the only options on ebay are to refund the entire cost of the transaction. Does anyone know how to refund just the shipping costs? The AI chat bot has no idea.

Mentor1 year agoWhile you are not obligated to do this, the Refund option in the drop down menu next to the item should allow you to do a partial refund. If it doesn't it usually is because of the payment method the buyer used.
Start putting in your lost package claim with USPS now.
