Shipping cost inaccurate
I listed an item and the automatic shipping cost was almost $100. The buyer requested that I ship using least expensive method which was close to $30 which is what I invoiced the buyer. eBay has the original $100 as shipping. Do I get that amount back if I don't use the shipping label

Yes, you get the buyers shipping paid and you pay the label. Any excess goes in your pocket.
If you purchased the $100 label on eBay, you need to cancel that label to get the refund.
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

If you bought a label outside of eBay, you need to add the tracking number that was used when you shipped your item so you have eBay seller protection, and can get paid.
The tracking number will be printed on the receipt (USPS tracking number is usually a 22-digit number)
- Go to the Sold section of My eBay. https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
- From More actions, select Add tracking number.
- Add, edit or delete the tracking number and the carrier.
- Select Submit.
