shipping cost from ebay
can someone explain to me how ebay has the gal to charge almost 200% more for a return item shipping label than the cost it calculated to ship the item to the buyer. Shipping charges to buyer $17. Shipping label to return the item over $32. Ebay: please explain?
maybe this is why I rarely use EBAY anymore...........

Sorry that I can't answer your specific question ... but did want to let you know that you are NOT required to use the shipping label eBay provides.
If you are required to pay the return shipping ... you are free to purchase your own shipping label. I purchase mine from PayPal, where I can pick the most reasonable shipping available.
Just be sure to purchase tracking AND to enter the tracking number into the 'return request' you filed.

I don't know what type, size or weight of item you're returning ... but USPS First Class Mail Package is the most reasonable shipping for items weighing 15.999oz. or less.
