Shipping cost dispute
My buyer says I advertised free shipping but my screenshot shows I did not. He has one that supports his claim. How can I view my original auction page?

Mentor2 years agoHi @hogbob
I checked one page of your Sold items in the last 90 days and NONE of them show Free shipping. I could edit a screen shot and cut and paste Free shipping from another listing with it on a screen shot and NOBODY would be able to tell I did that.
If you had the listing set with Local Pick up as an additional shipping option the word Free will be on the listing but it refers to not shipping the item. It is misleading the way eBay does that.
Do a Sell Similar on the Sold item, all your settings will be duplicated and you can see whether or not Local pick up was added.

OP2 years agoThanks for your help. What do you suggest now? Just wait for Ebay to settle it? How do I contact a person there? All I can get is the virtual advisor.

·2 years agoI look at you most recent sales and none of them show free shipping. Some times the phone app will show free shipping by mistake. He will not be able to check out without paying the shipping.

OP2 years agoI'm not sure how but I guess Ebay did allow him to check out. They sent me his payment and told me to ship the item.
