Shipping cost
I sold an item with an eBay estimated shipping cost of $5.68. That’s what the buyer paid. When I went to get the QR code to ship the item it said the cost of shipping was $13.27 ($26.05-$12.78 eBay discount). My selling settings are eBay discount rate and flat rate shipping costs based on buyer region. Why the big difference between the estimate(what the buyer pd and what it’s going to cost me to ship? This has never happened before…..

Mentor1 month agoNever let Ebay estimate the shipping.
Use the shipping calculator that calculates the shipping cost based on buyer location, EXACT weight and dimensions of the item.

OP1 month agoDon’t have the buyer location when I’m posting something to sell. Only have it after it has been bought

Mentor1 month agoIf you choose calculated shipping, the shipping charges shown to the buyer before they purchase will be the charge to ship to their location.
