Good day, i recently purchased an item and the seller was not responding to my mails however after three days they responded and took me an eBay worker told him to wait a few days till eBay confirms the order, as far as i know eBay confirms the order once the order is placed. What i want to know is why eBay allows people to sell without feedback or holding collateral incase the seller is going to commit fraud.

It is not necessary for a buyer to know the shipping status of an item.
Ebay provides an estimated date of delivery. When that estimated date of delivery has passed by 24 hours yu can file a Refund Request.
