Mentor7 months ago@rayakers I strongly recommend only offering local pick up on items that are too large to ship by usual methods. There is a lot that goes into freight shipping and it is VERY expensive. Items often need to be crated. You can see the list of freight carriers on this page> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options?id=4089 Use at your own risk. It will cost hundreds to ship a piece of furniture.
I do not recommend freight shipping. I suggest you use Local Pick Up
Put a note in the description that the buyer can arrange their own freight pick up.
When the buyer arranges freight shipping you are not responsible if the item is lost or damaged in shipping AND you don't have to worry about VERY expensive return shipping costs.

Scan the QR code or enter the 6 digit code into the app when the buyer or shipping company picks up the item so you have proof of delivery. This is VERY important.

No. eBay does not arrange freight shipping, and they do not recommend specific carriers.
Large items like furniture are best offered for local pickup only. Unless it is an antique, the shipping via a freight company or a national mover would probably be more costly than the item.
