Shipping charges partially charged to my bank account
I have sold a few dozen items on eBay this year and just had the shipping expense for one of my recent sales partially charged to my bank account for the first time ever. I suspect that it may be because the available funds that eBay had on hand for my account were not sufficient to cover the full cost of my various monthly shipping expenses when they finalized my account at the end of a month when I had also issued a fairly large refund.
But I can't find any indiciation of that being true or not in any of the monthly statements that I received and reviewed from eBay. The notation that eBay provided when they charged my bank account simply referred to an order that I had shipped almost a month earlier and I have no way to contact them directly to find out what actually happened.
Is this a fairly routine thing to happen?And how can I confirm that this is actually what happened? Thanks!
