shipping charges different than order
I paid 7.20 for an item. this item was fragile, the seller charged an additional 10.80 in shipping.
So, I paid more to ship the item than the item was sold for, because it was a sentimental replacement item for a favorite item that was accidentally broken.
The item was shipped U.S. Postal Service and when the item was delivered the mailman asked for an additional 1.70 in shipping on delivery , making the total shipping approx 12.50 for a 7.00 item.
Why did this happen? the shipping cost for the item should've been sufficient with no extra added.
