Shipping charges
Why am I paying for shipping out of my sales price if the buyer has paid the shopping fees???? Very confused at why it's being deducted from my sales....

·3 years agoYour buyer pays the price of the item and cost of shipping. When you print eBay shipping labels, the cost of shipping comes from the sale which is price plus shipping.

OP3 years agoThank you. I understand that is the way it should be but for some reason the price of shipping is paid by my buyer and then I pay it out of my sale price...not including shipping. Say I sell an item for 15.00 and the shipping is 8.50 which would be 23.50 plus tax of course then I pay for shipping of 8.50 then my pay out was only 6.50. 🙃

Mentor3 years agoEBay deducts their fees from the payment, too. Go to your payment account - https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/summary - click on the payment under recent activity, then click on the order # to see the details of the payment, the fees deducted, and your actual shipping charges.
