Shipping charges

Question

I'm shipping orders to customers using the USPS First Class Large Envelope option which should cost $2.44. Even when there's only one item in the order, the lowest number possible, the shipping charge to the customer is $2.44 but the charge to me for the shipping label is higher, for example $6.36

What am I missing?

Hi @donbeacom

USPS First Class Lg Envelope does not come with tracking, so you can't purchase a label for that class of service through eBay.

If you don't ship with tracking, you give up your Seller Protection and you also earn hits to your shipping metrics.

For the items you're selling, consider using eBay Standard Envelope for lower cost shipping. See this link to learn how it works:
