shipping charges
Recently I have been posting old sheet music. When I do the original post, I enter the weight and dimensions and nearly always the suggested shipping service is USPS First Class envelope. However, when the item is sold and I create the mailing label, nearly always USPS First Class envelope is not an option due to "exceeds size/weight". But nothing changed. So this is costing me because I set the original price based on the USPS First Class fee.
What gives? And how do I either get the correct info initially OR be able to use the initial service when it comes time to ship?

Mentor4 months agoYou cannot use ebay shipping to print a first class shipping label. ebay only prints labels that include tracking, and first class shipping does not include tracking. You will have to handwrite your envelope and use stamps or buy postage at the post office. First class has a weight limit of 3 ounces as I recall. Over that weight, you must use ground advantage.
