Shipping charges
Why do I select buyers pay for shipping and I have to purchase the shipping label? eBay does charge the buyer for shipping and in the break down of what I earned eBay subtracts selling cost, promotion and shipping costs. So why does eBay subtract the shipping cost from my earnings again, because I have already purchased the the shipping label? I have spoken to customer service and they say it not like that when the hold on the fund are released. I have to many orders to pin point the exact cost and I have been waiting almost 4 wks for a payment to go through (APO address)

Funds on hold can be used to purchase shipping labels.
You select Calculated shipping so Buyers pay YOU to purchase the label with that money, it is clearly shown on the order details. Nobody else is going to put the shipping label on the package other than you.

OP5 months agoUnderstood but my point you missed. Ok I have to pay for label I print label. For example sake let say it's 5 dollars.$ -5, I sell $50 item the total cost for the buyer $60, and here's the break down $60 -$5 (transaction fees) balance $55-$5(shipping) balance $50 and negative $5 more for taxes order earnings $45 . Now my account is at -$5 already now add the $45 that equals $40. You see they already charged my account the $5 and yes the do charge the customer but they minus the $5 from the customer as well. So my point is yes charge the customer $5 but leave it in the order earnings because I already had my account pay it does that make since? I know transaction fees and taxes should be switched in ordering my example. I believe they should only minus $10 total 5 for fees and 5 for taxes.
