Shipping charges
I just won a bid and the shipping was approximately $12. The seller now sends me a message that the shipping choices are $56 or $77.
That is a huge difference and I want to cancel the purchase. Will it be held against me as far as eBay is concerned?

The seller is not allowed to ask more for shipping than what was indicated on the listing page.
What was the shipping charges shown on the listing page? Have you paid already?

Thank you for your response. There was the item bidding and the shipping was $12.00. A couple of hours after I had won, she was already sending a message wanting to know when I would pay. I paid when I saw that I had won. In the morning she evidently decided to see what it would cost and then informed me of the extra cost and wanted to know how I wanted to proceed. I didn’t proceed, I said to cancel it because that is to big of a jump in cost after I had already paid for it. She refunded my money. She didn’t seem mad, almost a happy tone to the message. I have a feeling she saw what other people were asking for that sort of item and wasn’t happy.
