Why does ebay charge the customer for shipping & me for shipping.? They get paid twice.

When a Seller creates a listing, they can indicate how much they are charging their Buyer for shipping. The Buyer purchases the item, adds the shipping fees and sends to the Seller. The Seller then uses that shipping fee to purchase a label to put on their Buyer's package.

OP1 year agoNo, that's wrong. The buyer pays eBay. Not me the seller. eBay then decides where and how much goes to the seller. eBay charges me the seller and the buyer shipping costs.

If you look at a breakdown of what the Buyer paid to you, what they paid for shipping their package is included.
The Buyer does not pay eBay for shipping. Ebay does not put the label on your item. You do. You need to use the money the Buyer gave you to purchase a label.
