Shipping charge calculations....
Why is it that I list an item at a certain calculation for shipping then when I review the listing before posting the shipping appears to be the correct amount but after the item sells the shipping quote sent to the buyer is aprox. 1/2 of the cost of actual shipping? I recently posted an item that showed shipping to my hometown in NY state... where the item was being shipped from, as $18.75....a buyer from Texas made the purchase and shipping to them in the order details was $12.85...while actual shipping of the item to them was $21.75...what is going on here?...any ideas? Thank you.

OP9 months agoI think that I may have found the problem. eBay's shipping calculations on my listing was 'pre set' to ebay's discounted shipping options...**bleep**? Didn't even notice that...I guess I am a bit rusty at this and so much has changed...NOT for the better, I might add. I re set to calculate accurately...hoping this takes care of it. Thanks anyway.
