Mentor2 years ago@piccolo-pie I use the shipping calculator to see what the price would be for shipping both items together. Then use that information to send a combined shipping invoice.
You can select from your zip to the buyers zip at the bottom of the shipping calculator , that's a VERY important step so you get the correct information. Be sure to enter the correct package size and weight for the new package.

OP2 years agoThank you - When I am calculating a combined invoice, I have noticed a discrepancy between what the shipping calculator tells me the USPS postage will be versus what I pay for shipping when it comes time to actually buy the label. This occurs when I plug in exactly the same info: package type, dimensions, weight and zip. Calculator is higher. I dug around and read that could be due to the calculator using retail USPS rates versus the commercial rates applied when I buy the label. Has that been your experience?

Mentor2 years ago@piccolo-pie I haven't noticed that in the past. The green writing should be eBay's discounted price, the retail price shown below that with a line through it.
I haven't had to do any combined shipping ( sadly) since the changes with ground advantage and the new cubic rates. It's possible that the calculator is not taking the cubic rate into account.
You can use Piratship.com to calculate the prices and buy your shipping labels. It integrates with eBay and charges the same commercial base rate or less for USPS and UPS.

OP2 years agoWhen I use shipping calculator I do not see green writing over a retail price w/ strike-through. Thank you I will take a look at Pirateship.com and compare those calculations.
