Shipping before payment
I've sold a gold coin. The buyer wants it delivered in a hurry to a different address. He claims he has paid but eBay shows he hasn't. I'm getting emails from him and someone supposedly with eBay saying I won't see that he has paid until I have mailed the coin. Is this a scam?

Yes. This is a SCAM. Please stop responding to this person.
Message eBay on their Facebook page to look into this. Do nothing until you hear back from eBay based on your message to them.

OP9 months agoThanks I knew it was just wanted to make sure. I got in touch with ebay they confirmed that he had not paid and they would not email anyone telling them to ship without payment approval. They however are unable to do anything else. This guy still thinks I'm going to ship him a $1500 coin without payment. I'm tying to get him to say more on eBay's messages so I can report him again so that hopefully eBay will at least ban him. It's not much but something needs done. Thank you for your reply I appreciate it!
