How do I set up freight LYL services within eBay?

Ask the buyer if sees a ‘request total from seller’ in his cart. If yes and he clicks there, you will get a request to send an invoice.
If he doesn’t see the request button, then he should remove it from his cart and use the buy it now button instead of add to cart. This will commit him to the purchase and it should show in your sold items so you can send an invoice.

Freight (I assume you mean LTL) is handled outside of eBay. When you list with freight, there is no price given to the buyer until you get a quote to arrange the shipping.
Many freight companies have integrated tracking, so if possible, it is good to use one of those carriers. Otherwise, it is all up to you. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options?id=4089
Unless you are familiar with freight shipping, large items are better offered for local pickup only.

OP4 months agoThank you. How do you indicate this inside the listing. My purchaser keeps getting the error stating they cannot check out since there is no freight.

The system is waiting for you to send an invoice with the correct freight cost. So you need to get a quote to your buyer's location, and crating if needed, make sure insurance is included, etc. eBay is going to take their % on the freight, so you might want to mark it up a bit to cover the fees.
Then go to your sold items and select send invoice next to that item, fill in the freight and send. If it isn't in your sold items, ask the buyer to click 'request total' in their shopping cart. Then the system will ask you to send a total with freight.
