Shipping an item
Hello community. I’ve just sold an item on eBay and shipping was roughly 60 dollars. I found out the buyer lives close to me and he’s willing to pick up the item. When I void the shipping label will they be refunded or will I have to manually send them money?

-You have 5 days to Void a label your purchased through eBay on this page: Track and manage your shipments (ebay.com)
The funds will be credited back to YOUR account in 21 days or less.
-The issue with what you want to do is that eBay expects a tracking number to be uploaded to the sold item within your Handling time or your account will get a late shipping defect.
-The path of least resistence might be to ask the Buyer to message you requesting a cancellation, you can then cancel and Relist with Local pick up

Mentor2 years agoYou will be refund for the label, but the buyer will not.
Best to cancel the transaction, which will refund in full and relist with the local pickup option for buyer to choose when checking out. This way buyer will have a pickup confirmation code to give you to preserve your ebay seller protection.
