Shipping an item
I listed an item for sale for pick up only. A buyer paid for item but they didnt know it was for pick up only. Buyer states they will pay for shipping. Can I add shipping to to the sale? I have not received payment. It’s on hold. Suggestions or similar encounters?

Mentor1 year ago@eilrobe-67 I don't think it's feasible to ship the composting toilet due to the package size.
What are the dimensions and weight of the box? Is packaged well enough to withstand being thrown at least 4 feet and having another heavy package land on top of it?
You have to cancel the sale as problem with buyers address. Refund the buyer. Then relist WITH shipping.
This is the only way you will be able to add the tracking that is needed to prove delivery.
This is how refunds work>>
Refunds, even for order cancellations, come out of your available funds not pending or held. If you do not have available funds then eBay charges your back up payment method for selling costs.
Have you entered your backup payment method for selling costs here: https://ppcapp.ebay.com/myppc/wallet/list Select Manage under the method you want to use then select Preferred for selling costs. I use a credit card so it doesn't come out of my checking account.
Once you issue the refund and the buyers funds are released from being held or finish processing then the buyers payment is released to you.
