"Shipping" an automobile / car
While selling a vehicle on eBay Motors, on at least one eBay screen it looks like I (the seller) must ship it to my buyer's home city/state/zip. All names and amounts in this public forum message are fictitious, but if you are an eBay employee I'll gladly send you screen captures.
For instance: On the screen where the potential buyer made me an offer, the screen reads as follows:
Mr X made you an offer
respond to this offer from Mr X
Quantity: 1
Amount: $11,111
Buyers Message: This is slightly over Kelly Blue Book, seems fair
Offers Remaining: 8
Ships to: Juneau, Alaska 99999
boxes at bottom of this screen say [Accept] or [Make a counter offer] or [Decline offer]
Who would accept any offer?!?!?!
It looks like I'm on the hook for shipping.

Mentor3 years agoThe shipping terms in your listing apply to offers as well. Check your listing - looking at the conversion van, it says -
Buyer responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping
This vehicle is available for local pick-up. Additionally, shipping arrangements can be made through uShip. Simply review the available shipping options below, choose the option that best suits your needs, and have your item delivered by a customer-rated uShip service provider.
