Shipping after ship-by date.

I recently sold an item, however I am traveling and cannot ship until two weeks after the ship-by date. The purchaser confirmed they still want the item even with the extra wait time. Will eBay cancel my sale after seeing the item did not ship by their given ship-by date?

eBay will not cancel the sale, however you may want to.

If you do not ship within your handling time you will get dinged for a late shipment. Depending on your sales volume one late shipment might not be an issue, however if you do not sell much it could bring your late shipment percentage to below standard. New sellers should avoid defects.

What you can do is message the buyer and let them know eBay requires you to ship within your handling time and you are unable to delay shipping. Ask if they want you to cancel the sale.

You can cancel the sale as buyer requested. Since the buyer is willing to wait you can hold the item for them and list it again for them to repurchase once you can ship.
