shipping a photo...

Question

Question...I had just shipped a 5x7 photo. I used a semi-rigid photo mailer (8" x 6") and the weight was 1.7oz per my scale. I always round up so I used 3oz. When I shipped the product the cheapest shipping solution was Advantage and it cost me $5.83 shipping (the photo was only sold for $6.99. The drop down did not give me the option of first class mail or EBAY standard envelope. I was expecting that service to be listed and pay roughly the $1.30 or so for the label. Do I need to change the "category" of my future photo listings to "trading cards" or "coins" inorder to get the standard envelope shipping option.

You do not want to list your items in the wrong category. That in itself is a policy violation.

You cannot use the standard envelope for a rigid mailer. The item must be flexible enough to wrap around a roller about the size of a soda can.
