Shipping
Hi, I sold a Nintendo Switch 2 as a presale on September 9 for $749.99. The listing clearly says “PRESALE” in the title and description. I purchased the item from Walmart and my confirmed expected delivery date is October 29. However, this order is currently showing a ship-by date of September 14. I don’t have the item yet and I don’t want to upload false tracking or ship an empty package. What is the correct way to handle this order without violating eBay policy?

It appears that when you created the listing you did not set your Handling time to account for the EXACT date you were supposed to state that it will ship.
Here is a link to the eBay Help pages on Presale items. 40 days is the limit to ship from time of order ... Sept 9 to Oct 29 is more like 50 days. Presale policy | eBay
I suggest you message the Buyer immediately and let them know of your error and ask them if they will ask you to cancel so you can Relist the item correctly for a Presale listing ... if they agree then you can cancel using the reason "Buyer requested ..." to avoid a strike on your account. Then if Oct 29th is the earliest ship date you can guarantee then 40 days back from there means a sale no sooner than September 19th.
