Shipping
I’m a new seller on EBay. On my listing I chose the $1.32 shipping option. So that is what the auction is charging the buyer. The issue is the item won’t ship for 1.32. It’s too big. I don’t mind paying extra myself to ship, but how will eBay track it if I don’t use their label that is the 1.32 label?

Is the item bigger than a trading card?
If so, just buy a Ground Advantage label on eBay and the tracking will be updated with the actual tracking number.
If you already requested an eBay Standard Envelope label, you'll have to print a correct label.
Here's how to print another shipping label on eBay:
- Go to Orders: https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
- Find the label, then from the Actions drop-down list, select GET ANOTHER LABEL
- Enter the dimensions and Select Print

If you item is a trading card, it will ship for 1.32 if you pack it correctly with a soft sleeve not a rigid toploader.

OP2 months agoThank you for the info. Very helpful. It’s a trading card BUT it’s one of those game worn jersey cards that are real thick. So won’t fit in 1.32 envelope without upcharge I don’t think.

Sometimes people have been able to pay a 'nonmachinable' upcharge.
You could ask at the Post Office
