someone purchased 8 items that need to be shipped separately. i was able to print 5 of the 8 labels and now get an error message saying Something went wrong and we were not able to generate the label. How do i purchase the last three labels?

You can only purchase five labels for a transaction on eBay. But you can purchase the remaining three labels on other websites (most sellers use Pirate Ship).
This is a good one to keep in mind if eBay shipping is down and you need a label in a hurry.

OP4 months agoThank you I wonder why the customer service person I spoke to didn’t know that. I used Pirate Ship and it was actually cheaper. Thanks got them all mailed.

The mentors here on this board have much more real buying and selling experience than the customer service reps. It's always a good place to start when you have a question. If we can't help, we'll then refer you to CS.
Glad you got it taken care of and now you have a Plan B if you need one in the future!
