I have a buyer who won an auction, paid for the item but asked me to hold the item so they could bid on another auction of mine and (if they win) would like me to combine shipping. How do I hold the item purchased past the shipping date without getting penalized by eBay for late shipment?

Mentor4 months ago@rankase-0 You can't hold the shipment or you will have a late shipping defect.
You can ask the buyer if they will request to cancel then cancel as buyer requested. Refund their money and relist once the other auction ends.
When you combine shipping be sure to select both items, then select get shipping label from the top of the page on this list> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Next page it will ask if you want to combine... say yes and adjust package weight and size as needed. This way the tracking is added to the other items automatically.
