Question

We enter the size and weight of the item selling. Ebay collects the shipping cost from the buyer which happened to be WAY OFF now We have to pay the difference. I'm tired of Getting ripped off because you people cannot collect the right shipping costs. Our dimensions and weight were accurate so why Ebay cannot get this right is beyond me

I looked at a number of your listings and other than the one long 43" sword they all seem to have USPS Ground Advantage (and shipping costs from FL to my location in PA seem to be correct) but the sword has Priority Mail set for it.

Is there a chance you have inadvertently set you Shipping preferences to have a discount off Retail pricing, meaning the Buyer pays "X" with the discount but you pay more than they paid? That can be found on this page in the Carrier rates settings section: Shipping Preferences

I have never had a problem with eBay calculating shipping. Can you provide an example of the problem? Give us the dimensions and weight of the package you entered and the shipping service selected. Are you making sure to use calculated shipping and not flat rate shipping?

Interesting, I have never had eBay miscalculate shipping and I've been selling here for over 20 years.
