Anyone else have problems with FedEx saying your package weighs more than it really does? The first time they did this I think it was $1.87 charge which I knew was wrong but not enough to worry about. The second time they said a 16 oz. package(2 1/43 scale Ertl tractors - about 5 oz. each) weighed 5 pounds. I will be calling & complaining this time but I wonder if this is an orchestrated effort on the part of FedEx since I didn't complain the first time. System wide they could bring in a lot of money.

Shipping costs are not only charged by weight but also package size. If this is about the 2 Ertl tractors you sold the other day, then there shouldn't have been an up charge, unless you made a mistake when you entered the package dimensions, or weight. Did you check that to see if you did?
I have to ask why you are using FedEx to ship small inexpensive items with Free Shipping?
If you used an oversize box to ship the models it may have triggered FedEx's dimensional weight shipping. check your label details then read the info in the link below.
