I made an error in my listing on the weight of my package. The buyer requested USPS Ground and paid $28, but because of my error it will actually cost $69 to ship. Yikes! I’ve made many sales and never made an error like this! I can ship it via fedex for $30. It will be the same delivery window. I messaged the buyer to get their ok but haven’t heard back. How long would you wait and/or would you just send it?

Mentor9 months agoThis was your error, so you need to send it via the shipping type as shown in your listing. You need to pay the extra cost out of your pocket. You cannot change the type of shipping. FedEx can tack on extra fees after the fact, so you don't know if that is the total cost. We have all been there! Make sure in the future you weigh and measure your packaged item to avoid this issue.
