What do I do when the buyer has paid for an item to be shipped through USPS but, the item is too large to be shipped through USPS? I'm sure this needs to be cancelled some kind of way.

Mentor6 months ago@mardou-1 I know that this follow up reply is a bit late in coming but I wanted to clarify some important points for anyone reading this post in the future.
The first is you can NOT charge the buyer more for shipping than stated on the listing.
Determining the correct shipping prices is an area that many new sellers have problems with.
The first step to familiarize yourself with shipping is to use this tool> https://www.ebay.com/shp/calc/rates
It is also best to use buyer pays > calculated shipping on your listings. ( this only works if the item is not too large or heavy for traditional shipping methods)
Setting up your shipping options
When items are too large or heavy to ship then Local Pick Up only is the best option. The buyer gets a code that you can enter into the app or on the sold listing as your proof delivery.

If you can't ship an item that a buyer has paid for then you must cancel it as out of stock damaged. You either a) find a carrier that will handle the package and invoice the buyer if there is a price difference or b) cancel that order entirely as "Out of stock" in Item Details but your seller account receives a defect.
